How to Publish a Virtual Tour to Google Street View

Easily publish immersive 360° tours to Google Street View using GoThru's redesigned interface. This guide walks you through everything from setup to publishing, whether you're showcasing a business, venue, or public space.

1️⃣ Getting Started

Before You Begin

✅ Prepare Your 360° Images

  • Minimum resolution: 5300x2650px
  • Supported formats: .jpg
  • Capture images 3-5 meters (10-15 ft) apart for best results

✅ Connect Your Google Profile to allow access to Google Street View publishing

2️⃣ Create a New Tour

  • Go to GoThru Dashboard → Click "Create New Tour"
  • Select: "Publish to Street View"
  • Find the business using the business name (e.g., "Beer Store 2022 Tour") or use CID numbers.
  • Verify:
    • Location (e.g., "Beer Store 2022, Bramalea Road")
    • CID/Place ID (auto-filled if connected to Google Business Profile)

3️⃣ Upload & Connect Images

Option A: Direct Upload

  • Click "Browse Files" or drag/drop images into the upload zone.
  • Wait for confirmation (e.g., "3 images uploaded successfully").

Option B: Import from Cloud

  • Use Google Drive or Dropbox for bulk uploads.

Open the Panorama Connector:

  • Double-click your first image (e.g., "Entrance Plaza").

Add Subsequent Images:

  • Drag/drop or double-click adjacent panoramas.
  • Click "Auto Link" to let AI connect images (works best with 3-5m spacing).
  • Manually adjust paths if needed (drag blue lines on the map).
